Yes you can return it, hopefully you sitll have your receipt. You have 90 days to return it and i would just say that it was not the right size you want and would like your money back.
Also its good that you have the packaging for it, since that helps alot

i agree with bluery, they must already be throwing tons of merch away before it even gets to the store because of quick manufacturing... tossing a return out shouldn't be a problem.

As long as you have your receipt you can return it. Just tell them your mom bought it and it is the wrong one.
