Can military experince help me, in being competative for a corporate job?
I have a B.A. in Business Administration, from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and 4 years experince as an officer in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry officer.
In the corporate business world, could either of these 2 things on my resume help me get a good job? Does military leadership help you start off higher than other applicants?
And if anyone knows, corporations or bisinesses that like military experince?
As someone who owns a small business and works daily with other small businesses I'd say - it's certainly a plus. I wouldn't hire you simply because you were ex-military, but I've mostly seen ex-military folks to be very good workers. There's a lot of factors I look at when hiring someone, but if everything else was equal I'd rather hire a veteran than a non-veteran.
There's almost certainly a few companies whose principals would hold your military service against you. However, that would be a minority - rational business owners are simply interested in results.
I ran across this site 2-3 weeks ago. It may help: http://www.gijobs.net/

No the problem is you will find is corporate America does not do things the way the military does them for the most its not helpful. They see you as more of a problem then a help. Its not the time of leadership and structure there looking for. Your recruiter lied to you as was done to me 13 years ago. 11b and 11c with air assault keep your mouth shut hoah

Yes, your degree and your former leadership experience are bonuses that you should use to your advantage. Mention them.
