there is an 'end auction' option
i must warn you though, if you were messaged an offer through ebay, it could very well be a scam, and paypal won't extend any protection to you if it is in fact a scam. look it up, especially if the buyer has a low rating. |

Sure, you can end the auction early (see the site map), BUT, if you stop the auction at $1, it just sold for $1.
The emails from people asking to buy it for $10 are not necessarily playing fair. (There are exceptions like clothes or furniture that is difficult to move.) Many sellers report that any time they get such an offer, they reply, "you are welcome to bid," then watch as the item sometimes goes for far more than they were offered.
Think about it, why can't they bid? Is it the fear that someone else will pay more? |

Yes. You can cancel your auction early for various reasons:
1. Item damaged
2. item lost
3. Profound error in description
etc. |
