Unfortunately, unless you can prove "High crimes and misdimeanors",
we're stuck with 'em 'till 2008.
You can, however, change the Congress so that it isn't rubber stamping
stupid ideas.
I do *NOT* believe that Republicans should be voted out of office because
they gave Bush too much power without enough guidance. I *DO* believe
that they should be voted out office if they do not recognize that they
shouldn't have given him that power now.
That is, if they can't recognize their mistakes, they shouldn't be in office.
By the way, the same logic applies to Democrats. Lots of people voted
with the President based on the flawed intelligence he said that he had.
I believe that the congress was generally acting in good faith.
However, to not recognize the mistakes after all that has happened
is pretty good reason to not get voted back in.
In a company with shareholders, the CEO would have been axed by the

Now, I'm not saying what these people are doing is right. But I suppose you have never been wrong about anything?
Geez, cut them some slack. They are under alot of pressure and they do the best they can with what they got. If you think you can do a better job, then run for office. There is nothing stopping you.
Besides, its not like they intentionally knew that it would be like it is now and went forward with it anyway. |
