Chief of AT&T to retire on $158M?
These retirement packages are grossly obscene, what makes people believe they are actually deserving of such?

Here's another........

The C.E.O. who retired from Exxon Mobil makes $120.00 a minute.

Obscene?

What I want to know is what they do with their fat packages.

If they become philanthropists, and donate most of it to worthy endeavors, that seems alright.

If what they plunder from corporations while eliminating lowly workers and staff...is used for ulterior motives, then it's cause for worry.

Because they can. It woudl be nice to be able to have 10% of that. Not all of us are equally blessed.

Well, it looks like AT&T is a highly successful company, although it is not greater than Verizon.

Verizon's chief gets a lot too, though, to a great extent it is perfromance based.

It's pretty tough to say for sure how much someone should make. It is important to understand corporate culture. If you think they should make less, but believe in the free market, then you should probably say that they should be taxed more.
