I received a defective product from an online store and I was thinking of using the warranty and exchanging for a working product. But do you have to pay shipping to send it back?
I am a small business owner,and I couldn't even imagine asking my customers to pay for S&H to send back to me when it is a defective product,so therefor my answer to your question is no you shouldn't have to pay for a S&H for a defective product to send back to the company.If they want to make their customers happy they should be more then willing to pay for it to have it shipped back or even have UPS or another courier comapny to pick it up at your door to make it easy and conveinent to their customers.Good luck.

It depends on the company policy. I'm with the others here, ask. Sometimes you may pay for return shipping, but they will pay to ship your replacement. Other times, they may just require you to call for a return authorization number and they'll pay for both the shipping back and the replacement product.
