I was just wondering do ALL the ebay members send you an email when your goods have been shipped? I bought a good few things off ebay lastnight from different buyers and only received 2 shippment emails today. And also I bought some goods on sunday night and havnt received any emails for these. Please help as I'm afraid I won't get the goods and have lost my money. |

I always e-mail my customers with the the tracking number after I have shipped.
However, as a buyer, about half the time, the people I buy from do not e-mail me when they have shipped my product.
I have only had one mishap that something did not show up, but after I talked to the person, they re-sent a replacement item and it was fine.
If you are concerned, try e-mailing them and asking if they have shipped yet. |

Although it is considered great communication for the seller to do so, it is not required and should not be expected to have an e-mail letting you know on the shipment. Generally, within the item description you read before you purchased, the good sellers will indicate when they will ship (i.e., within 3 days of payment received or something like that).
To ease your concerns, there is absolutely nothing wrong at all with contacting the seller and asking them to let you know the ship date. That's what I've done when I wasn't sure. You can contact the seller via e-mail, through eBay....just go back to your item listing and click on "contact seller" and follow the instructions, pretty straightforward.
Your item listing can also be found if you log in to eBAY, click on "My eBAY" and all of your pending items are there in the folders until you manually delete them (I delete everything in there after I have received my item and am satisfied).
I have never had a problem with an eBAY seller. I do look at their ratings before I buy. Anyone below 99.0% does not get my business. |

some sellers are lazy or are just too huge to respond by email. you should get confirmation that payment was received via email from paypal. of course if you are concerned wait a couple of days then use contact seller from your item page and ask sell if they shipped item yet. |

no, many of the Ebay sellers I have bought from did not provide a shipping confirmation. They did once I asked for it. If they ship using Paypal, then you should receive an email with the tracking info. Otherwise, it's up to the seller to let you know. Good luck |

They are not required to...the shipping terms are clearly marked on the auction page, but a courteous seller will. A seller that is looking to keep a good reputation will. You can respond with poor shipping marks at the time you leave feedback..after you have gotten your item.
If they do not contact you....you can either send them a message directly through ebay on your myebay page or through the auction page and ask how/when your package will be shipped or through paypal, where their email is listed (if you smartly used paypal).
Then, if you still get no response....you can begin the process of getting ebay involved if they have not shipped as per their terms. You can do this through myebay too. |
