Corporations care about making a profit for their shareholders. If caring about their employees helps them make a profit, yes.

Corporations do not care about employees at all. Profits are the only concern. If corporations actually cared then everyone would have health insurance and no company would outsource.
Unfortunately, corporations have totally misconstrued the reason for work. Working is done by people to support themselves and their families. Making more money than necessary may be nice, but it is not imperative.

I work for a retail corporation and one of my co-workers' sons got hit by a car last week and someone from my company has been with her the entire time at the hospital and everyone has been extremely supportive to her. But another one of my coworkers was telling me that she worked for a corporation that made someone drive to California from Texas on 9/11/2001, even though he was personally effected by the events that occured that day. So it really just depends on the corporation.

Profit is what they are looking for, or only the numbers. We are simple the money machine, sound bad but it is. The answer is that Corporations do not care about their employees. Some one here preaches about how much money he is saving to the company in health insurance annually, now the employees pay more than before and someones with problems can not really afford treatments anymore. But that person got a promotion.Ironic...
