NONAME
Do you believe China is sticking it to the USA?
China does not obey intellectual property rights. China use their billion worker workforce to act as the world's labor supply. China intentionally pegs its RMB 8X lower than the US Dollar to creat its exporting industry supplying Buyers like the USA and other countries cheap goods to bankrupt foreign industries. China controls their media so a postitive China is presented to the world, just like what USA firms do in there PR department. China has spies all over the USA to steal technology and other secrets. China tells Microsoft, to release part of its programming code or get the hell out of China's marketplace, and Microsoft blinked, and so does Google, and many other Foreign firms. This is how to deal with the Arrogant "Whitie". What is good for the goose is good for the gander. China finally learn how to fight back and not take sh it from "Whitie"!! Whitie is finally tasting its own medicine. Whitie has been a bully throughout its development into a world power, times up!

Ageeable, but not all. The "Whities" will eventually stick to China on other things as well - such as manufacturing and a hose of others.

The "Whities" are also nosey, see what will happen if the Chinese turn the table round!

Most people in China, like most people everywhere are just trying to make a living and be successful the best way they know how. Bankrupting other countries does China no good at all. Most things, like low wages are set due to markets. For example, in India, wages were very low. But, as the Indian work force became more successful (and more valuable) their wages went up dramatically.

China has not spend much energy enforcing intellectual property rights because the benefit of ignoring them was high, and the cost low. As China produces more of their own intellectual property, they will start to see the value/benefit of IP protection. This is already happening - but it will probably take several years to see a major change.

I believe China is, passively 'sticking' it to the USA. None of this is an intentional act by China. As the new world power, America is the represents the epitome of all states which tried to exploit China in the previous 4 centuries.

While the West concerns itself with problems like IP and industrial espionage, China takes this time to reflect on how the British used international law to force China to war and consequently buy its opium.

China turns a blind eye to many things as a reflection of that which has past. And they will not let those transgression of the past arise again in the present.

Additionally, for an understanding of why China continues to keep the RMB so low, an understanding of basic economics is necessary - plus the fact that China has more peasants living below poverty than the whole of America's population! So imagine if China one day decided to raise the value of the RMB on par to the USD...what does one think will happen when 500 million peasants were happily spending that RMB to buy stuff at Walmart & Carrefour? Well, simple....prices will go up, RMB circulation will go down, and 500 million peasants will have even less money than before. Have you ever seen 500 million disgruntled people????
