I tire of the 9-5 life, and I've only been doing it 2 years (I'm 20!) I just want to travel the world, doing random jobs across the globe, meeting new people and writing of my adventures.

Not even close - corporations seem to spend their time coming up with ideas that don't help anybody, stop people working efficiently and require a forestful of paperwork that will all be dumped in 2 years when everything is either re-vised or dumped in favour of the next Big idea.
In an attempt to reduce paperwaste they spent millions on creating a training database so you can see when you need to re-qualify any relevant topic: you open the training information and qualification sheet but because they won't accept electronic signatures you have to print it all and complete it by hand!
People get paid to do this - if they had dynamite for brain and it exploded it wouldn't ruffle their hair. |

You may feel that you dont fit at first but over a period of time, usually years, you get moulted into their way of doing things. If you have ever heard of Myers Briggs personality tests, I went on one and came out as an ISTJ type and this exactly mirrors my organisation.......anyway ive spent way too long in the same company.....so take it from me.......move around!!!! |
