I'm in the navy and there are ALOT of things you can get MILITARY discounts on, you just have to ask. Most things are tickets to certain places....as far as a vehicle. I don't think military will get a discount that any other normal person can't get. The only difference is that someone in the military will probably be 100% approved becasue they know that service member has a steady job for the next 4yrs or so. so in that case they will approve you for just about anything. Be careful though, watch for the high interest rates, etc.
basically anytime you go somewhere and purchase things, if they ask for ID, show ur military ID and don't be shy to ask, do you have military discount. I was in Flordia and bought tickets for this aquarium meuseum. tickets were 39.00 per person. right before i paid, I said, "you don't have military discounts do you?" the guy said, oh, ur in the military, yea. Final price, the tickets ended up being only 9.00 per person!!! I got my wife and my brothers in! awesome deals!
alot of amusement parks will let military members and thier immediate family in free once a year! after that, they do offer cheaper tickets. U just have to ask on a case by case basis. |
