Most credit repair companies are rip-offs and scams. It is illegal for a credit repair agency to ask for payment up front. They cannot guarantee to remove negative items from your credit report. Everything that they can do, you can do for yourself. |

Be very, very careful and watch your pockets. These companies charge you for stuff you can do yourself for free. I suggest that you first buy an e-book about credit repair. A very good e-book is the "credit secrets bible". The credit secrets bible is really up-to-date and has a lot of satisfied readers. |

There is no such thing as credit repair. Accurate information that is negative CANNOT be removed. If anyone says it can, they are lying to you. If information is incorrect, you can write to the credit rating agency and have it fixed. However, if it's accurate, it stays and no one can change that.
Don't get scammed by crooks. |
