Here's an interesting McDonalds fact. In order to own a McDonald's franchise, you have to go to McDonald's school and graduate from their McDonald's courses as a McManager (I am not making this up). Then and only then can you by a franchise. Also, as an owner, you are required to pay royalties to the corporation monthly to cover stuff such as advertising costs. Hope this helps.
Historically, at one time, McDonalds paid rediculously low wages at took advantage of immigrant workers but they were then hit by federal minimum wage standards. |

they are usually foreigners. i mean, in my experience whenever i go they only understand the foods on the menu. if i request something like... "can you fill the fries to the top of the box" its like the end of the world. they get so confused and panic. its so annoying. |
