I like to buy clothes, electronics etc from Walmart. Because really once you have kids those $3-5 pants/shirts look really good. lol And Walmart carries good brands like Sony etc for cheaper than best buy or other stores usually (unless theres a sale)
The thing I don't like to buy there (but I usually end up doing out of convenience) is food. If you compare the walmart meats to say...Bashas meats its totally different. Some other stores with actual butchers have WAY better quality.
If your really looking for some bad reasons why don't you go more "societal". Basically because walmart has "everything" its slowly turning into a monopoly (at least in the US). Its like they say "Walmart and starbucks will be on every corner some day"

I shop on the Internet looking for the best prices and if that happens to be at Walmart I will go there. I buy all baby items (diapers, wipes, etc.) at B.J.'s because they are much cheaper than Walmart. I buy baby/toddler clothes at Burlington Coat Factory because the quality is much better for the same price.
If I can't find electronics for a better price anywhere I go to Walmart.
I feel like a cow in the heard at that store, always packed, always rude shoppers and the checkout workers are neither polite (most of the time) or very intelligent.
We are raising a 3 yr old and a 17 yr old so I do end up there once every other month or so to save money. I keep a Walmart list and when the list is full I go. When I want to shop for clothes I/we go to Kohl's. I prefer quality over junk but we like most people have to watch our money.
Walmart is a necessary evil.

I don't like shopping at Wal Mart I like *buying* there.
I like shopping where I sit down in a warm comfortable show room where everyone shows me everything and brings me coffee and danishes while I wait.
But that way of shopping is very expensive and would rather *buy* at the cheapest place there is like a Wal Mart. |

I hate shopping at Wal-Mart. It's ok for brand name items. But I don't enjoy the shopping experience. I just want to get in and out. If there was a Target around then I would shop there. Target has a nicer atmosphere than does Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart is just too blue collar and too depressing. There always seems to be a group that just loves it there so they make it harder for me to get around them so I can buy what I need to buy. |

i like walmart being a parent. as a younger teenager i thought it was cheap and wouldnt get anything there. although now as a mother walmart is great!!! Diapers,clothes,food,formula,i couldnt afford everything if it wasnt for there every day low prices!!!
