Do you think ebay is going to go out of business?
I hate ebay now and I used to love it. They have made all these ridiculous new rules for all these sellers but not the buyers (most sellers are buyers too though) and its bad for the buyers too because once the sellers leave the buyers wont have as many options as they did before. Ebay is definately going downhill and alot of alternative auction sites are taking advantage of this..what do you think?
Additional Details
Here is a graph showing how many people go to ebays site each day. you can obviously see that its getting worse every month now....

Yep! eBay is going down hill. They have forgotten us the sellers that made them built them. They would not be rich without us. A lot of us are calling ourselves ebay refugees and we are selling on ebid. net. Ebid net is FREE!

the sales aren't going down because of ebay - i think its the economy.

and, yes, ebay sucks - but, for me its because I have been doing it since they first started out, and it was a great company, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg to buy and sell.
seling fees were cheap, and shipping was cheap - everything was cheaper.

So, I can't see ebay going out of a business. why would a million dollar company go out of business, it wouldn't. There are always those NEWBIES that think ebay is the best thing around - and they will soon learn that its expensive - but, then, you will have the next group of NEWBIES that think the same thing - so, the cycle continues, and ebay will continue to suck- but, there are always those out there that will think its the best thing invented

No they're just moving away from their roots by catering toward 'Power Sellers' and ebay businesses. It makes financial sense for them since more transactions means more $. It is nevertheless a shame to see them pushing out independent sellers; the people on whom they built their brand.

Ebay has gotten to full of itself and I think they will eventually.

The fees now are too high to make a profit selling items. PayPal (an eBay company) is run by mindless morons. Half.com (an eBay company) does not see the need to allow seller payments to go to a PayPal account, but if you forget or lose you checking account information you need to fax them your complete life history to get it changed.

However, if you owe money to eBay and can't get your seller payment from Half.com... Refuse to pay eBay until they reset security on Half.com. No fax. no fuss.
