Will the typical white guy III | Do you think many companies are laying off strictly out of fear ? |
of the Obama economy ? Additional Details http://www.fightfoca.com/ |

Not of the Obama economy, but rather because of Obama and his supporters, including Liberal media. They spread fear intentionally to get the vote.
Not to imply that we will recover with Obama's economical method, because we won't. President Hoover already used the same method of raising taxes in 1932, which caused a Great Depression. Fear was a main factor. People got so scared when Wall Street crashed they raced to the banks to withdrawl their funds, and broke the banks completely, they had to lock citizens out.
The same tactic was being used by Obama, since the almost all media outlets are Liberal.
Even business owners are ignorant of being manipulated by Liberal news (don't ya know) so are laying off people for their companies protection, but the blame is going to Bush, just as Obama, and the Liberal Congress intends.
Remember that the economy is the the responsibility of the Congress, not the President, and the Democratic Congress took pay-off money from Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, and even covered it up, including Obama himself! If anyone is personally suffering because of the economy, they can lay the blame at their Democratic elected officials feet, for they did this to us!

Companies lay off out of fear all the time. Not just in this particular economy breakdown. I worked at a Hospital for about 13 years, and ever so often, they would claim they had to cut their budgets down, but instead of laying off, or downsizing Admin people, they would lay off all the people that did the hardest jobs! Then after a few months, they'd hire half of them back. Go figure. Then they would pick on the little ones that made a lot of money from being there a while, and try to get them to quit. Hospital politics are so crude. Anyway, I'm sure most companies, big companies, that don't have a steady volume, and goes over their budget often, will lay off out of fear. But I think sometimes they would say that, just to get rid of the people who make more money, in order to pay smaller wages to new hires. Does that make sense? Luckily I worked in Pharmacy and we weren't affected. I had worked as a Nurses Assistant back in the early 90s and I had just got Certified, and worked graveyard for three months on Surgical floor, and they laid me off along with several other Nurses Assistants. They hired most of them back after a couple of months. During that time, I got my foot in the door in the Pharmacy department and stayed there. :-) My Mom, who worked in Central Processing at the same hospital, new the Director of Pharmacy, and she put in a good word for me. That's how I got in, and plus my enthusiasm for learning new skills got me in as well. :-)
But, in a short answer, YES I do think they do that. |

No, they want to make as much as they can. Most businesses are optimistic. |

No, money is still the factor - they want to make more of it & cutting jobs is always the first step, economy or not. Some co's may be feeling the crunch & are trying to stay afloat by downsizing. |

Sure, good business practices make management lay off when it looks like the market is going down. They will hire again when business picks up to a point that they need more people to handle the extra business. |
