There is no way the government will let Ford go down. I would say 70% chance it will be exactly where it is 5 years from now, not good, but still standing. 30% it will get bought out by another company. |

no,definately not,it will restructure ,it has deep pockets,many assets and strong leadership with bill ford ,alan mulally is a sell off and ax man who will continue to cut overhead,but still increase overall performance,as a long term investment,it is a bargain at current stock prices. i also like the ford i drive |

I think Ford will survive as long as there is a need for cars. But yes, there may be several reorganizations before they get to the point of profitability. |

Ford could close every plant in the United States of America and move them to Canada or Mexico.
They could sell Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover to China.
They could reduce their 33.4% stake in Japan's Mazda to 20%
They could buy General Motors.
They could sell the Daimler brand to Germany's Daimler Chrysler (They only sell one model the Super Eight)
They could sell a 20% stake to France's Renault, another 20% stake to Japan's Nissan and a 11% stake to the Mexican Government. (They have over $60 Billion in the bank right now which is enough to buy Ford AND General Motors) |
