Do you think toy companies get a kick back from battery companies?
Are some toys invented simply because the companies that make batteries pay to have them made, so the battery company can make money on battery sales?

Never thought of it that way, but coming to think of it, I think it is quite possible it happens.

Frank Castle
No.

That would be like saying the Car Companies get a kick back from Oil companies or Microsoft gets a kick back from Hard Drive Companies (To keep the software bigger and bigger) or Tobacco Companies get a kick back from Pharmaceutical Companies and Health Care Companies (To keep producing more and more cancer patients) or Fast Food Companies get a kick back from Pharmaceutical and Health Care Companies (To keep producing more and more fat unhealthy patients)

Top 3 Answerer in Business & Finance. (Vote for me)

philbertpheinstein
I don't think it works like that.

not only do the toy companies get a kick back but so do the toy stores. I work at Toys "R" Us and we HAVE TO ask every guest if they need any batteries even if they just buy cloths. we are told to get more sales by getting them to buy the batteries are our place. if we forget to ask for batteries then the guest gets a free pop. we have to tally up how many batteries we sold by the end of our shift. and believe me WE HATE ASKING.

You know what? I think about that all the time!! Actually, everytime I change the batteries in one of my childrens many toys that require them! I also wonder do they need so many darn batteries to work or are they made to suck too much juice? I sure would like to know too!

Well that's an interesting thought, but if you think about it, there would be a neverending chain of paying other companies in a different field to keep the economy of the world stable.
Some toys don't run on batteries
