I sell on ebay and do my best to be trustworthy, but I have bought things from others and have sometimes been dissapointed. The trick is to watch the feedback ratings, how many things they have sold, if they are a power seller and do read the feedback they get. It will give you a good idea of their dependability. |

It's not so much eBay as the sellers. Look at the feedback record and read the comments. If there is a problem with the "track" record, it should show up here. Also, there are policies for dealing with buyers and sellers. |

I buy from ebay and I have not had any problems. I know some have, but for me it has always been good. I like a specific style of lucky brand jeans that lucky doesn't make anymore, and I can only find them on ebay, and have always been delivered exactly what they said without any problems. |

it's used by millions. i had to cancel a cheque once as the seller didnt send my goods...but other than that everything has been smooth transactions.
make sure you always read the seller's feedback & that will give you an idea of how happy his customers are & how efficient he (or she) is. |

I've been using eBay for years and haven't had any problems. If you plan to buy, be sure of what you are buying and check out the feedback on the seller. If you have any doubts about the seller, don't bid. If you have any questions about the item, be sure to ask the seller BEFORE you bid.
I've used eBay for both bids and bought using the "Buy It Now" feature. The "Buy It Now" items are usually sold by people who do a great deal of business through eBay, and they are generally very reliable. Be prepared to pay promptly and they will ship promptly.
If you plan to buy a high-priced item, like a car, real estate, etc., you may want to look for items that are near where you live so you can, perhaps, see the item and check it out before you bid. If it's a reliable seller, they should let you see the vehicle or whatever. |

It's ok I have used it several times & only got screwed once so I guess it's no worse than shopping at a place in person. One things for sure you can find ANYTHING you want and ltos of times you can get a great deal on things if you take your time & be smart about it.....be careful it's addicting..lol |

It's pretty trustworthy. I have bought and sold various items over the last couple of years and have never had any problems.
If you are selling, always make sure you receive payment before you post your sold items and you should be fine. |

Ebay is an excellent site, I have used it for buying and selling for several years. The best advise I can give you is to look at the sellers feedback, if they have less than 10 transaction or a feed back of less than 90% - be careful. |

It can be, but like any place. You can get some n*bs. I have had over 300 transaction (bought something/sold something) and have only ever had one problem. I think the main problem you will find is if you are selling an item. You item sells, but the winner does not pay. In this situation ebay/paypal will look after you. You can usually notice people like this who have bad feedback. Always check feedback is my advise. But any problems are always sorted out by ebay/paypal. |

Ebay is a great place to buy as long as you do your homework before bidding. Check the seller's feedback (actually read through it... don't just look at the percentage of positive). Check to see if they left feedback for others and what kinds of things they said about their buyers, problems they had, etc. since this may give you an idea of how dealing with them will be. Also, check the DSR (detailed seller ratings)... the little stars. If they have a really low score in any category, think twice before buying... there are so many sellers on Ebay that you can probably find what you're looking for from another seller.
Make sure that you read the item description well... I suggest reading it a few times just to be sure you have taken in and understood everything. Check the shipping price and make sure you're ok with that and that they ship to your country. Lastly, be sure to ask any questions that you have... there is no question that's too stupid to ask!!! Wait for a reply before bidding or buying.
If you follow these guidelines, you're doing your homework and will most likely have a great Ebay experience. If, for some reason, your experience with a particular seller ends up not being a good one, you do have recourses such as filing a claim, etc. Communication with the seller should always be your first line of defense!
Good luck and enjoy... Ebay can be a great place to buy as long as you're a responsible bidder ;) |

I buy stuff off of eBay all the time and have never had a problem. Just check out sellers before you buy from them - see their rating and make sure there are plenty of positive reviews. Happy bidding! |

I've had both good and bad results. Make sure you read a seller's feedback. Some people aren't as honest as others. |

I have purchased things off EBay like a cell phone and also a rare tshirt. The main things to be cautious of are that the seller excepts things like major credit cards and pay-pal. If they only except check or money order that's a little fishy because that means they don't want the payment tracked so if you have a problem you cant dispute it in anyway. Another thing is to check out the seller's rating. Alot of companies sell products on EBay which works really good. Basically just be suspicious of anything fishy and you should be fine! GOOD LUCK! |

Yeah, ebay is fine, its uses a system called paypal which means your credit card details are never given to the other ebay member. Just be sure to check the sellers feedback before you buy anything. |

I love ebay I have gotten over 100 things from ebay and never had a problem. You do need to look at sellers feed back though and if other people have had problems with them then avoid but for the most part people on there are great. |
