FedEx cannot deliver to mailboxes. The Post Office is the only one who can.

FedEx doesn't leave deliveries in mailboxes, so it doesn't matter whether you have one or not. They deliver to anyone with a mailing address, but if you don't have a mailbox, make certain your house number is visible, or they won't be able to find you. You should have your house number visible for the police and fire departments in case of an emergency anyway, but FedEx would also appreciate it.
