Does Procter and Gamble do Animal Testing?
I've done research on Procter and Gamble before (but that was about 6 years ago) and at the time, I know they did some pretty horrific tests on animals on their products. They used to be notorious for animal torture. My question is: DO THEY STILL TEST THEIR PRODUCTS ON ANIMALS?

I've done some research on this, but haven't been able to find an answer to my question. Still, I've boycotted all P & G products, because I have a zero tolerance policy for any kind of abuse to any living creature. Whether it's an adult, a child, an animal, or a plant. Can you also provide a source with your answer? Thank you.
Additional Details
Nobody has given a source. Can you tell me where you got your information from?

Hey sillyrabbit_...,

Yes. We are animals, and they test their products with humans too. I am not Jewish - but here is a web site that says what they do.

Jewish law forbids causing animals unnecessary pain. At the same time, Jewish tradition teaches that of the 613 Commandments in the Torah, 610 of them must be broken in order to save a human life. You learn that Proctor and Gamble, an Ohio based company that sells many products, uses animals to test the safety of its products. One of the tests used is called LD-50 (Lethal Dose 50%). This test requires that a substance be given to a number of animals until 50% of them die.

all FMCG, Drug, Pharma firms do that whether they admit it or no, in a way most countries are now open to Human testingt oo, clinical trials, which means for USD 15 an hour u can get a job less human to run as many tests as u want so they dont even need animals nowdays!

I know this is sad and bad, but welcome to the Real World!

May God bless us all!

Probably every successful drug company does

I think that they still do basic math equivalency testing on all of their animals, which is quite cruel. You're doing the right thing.

They probably will not admit to it. Nice to see people who actually care about important issues and stand up for those issues.
