Walmart is owned by the Waltons of Bentonville, Ar. Sams is owned by Walmart and the Waltons... Lowes isn't affiliated nor is Sears. Arvest Bank ( in Arkansas and Oklahoma) is also owned by the Waltons. Jim Walton specifically runs that company. There are other small businesses including Murphy Oil that they have ties with. |

My sis in law woeks for wal mart ; no they do not own sears, kmart does, and no they don't own lowes, they tried to buy them out but got shot down. yes they own sam's. research sam walton, he was the owner. |

Just Walmart and Sam's are owned by the same corporation (ever see all the Sam's stuff in Walmart)? Lowe's is on it's own and Sears recently took over K-Mart. |

Walmart only owns Sam's Club. Lowe's is a store chain that started out of North Carolina and Sears came from Sears, Roebuck and company and it merged with K-Mart a few years ago; somewhere around 2004. |
