Well, the opportunity is amazing. Just that its too damn difficult to build at the beginning. First, if you never ran a business before, you going to have a tough time building like everybody else. Second, if you don't pay to get yourself licensed, you are never going to make any money. Third, if your close friends and family see you as someone not serious in life, they don't want to work with you.

I join the business about two years ago and I still stuck around. I went through lots of mental challenges and my family didn't support me, but I still didn't quit. I know that dealing with crap is part of the business and everyone wants you to fail. Such crap includes people not showing up to opp meeting, new recruits that quit on you, and doing an appointment and person decides not to business with you at the end. The question is: Are you going to let these "crap" stop you from achieving your dream?

Anyway, when people join Primerica, they did NOT join for Primerica or Citigroup or for the guy who recruited them. They join for themselves. They are looking for a better life. $199 to start a business is a joke and all its for is to get a background check and send you to licensing school. You don't have to rent an office or buy supplies. It's all there for you to use. You don't pay your recruits. The company pays them. When you become RVP, then you want to start thinking about opening up your own office.

It's a scam. Really, it is. Citifinancial is a terrible company.

I don't want to accuse Primerica of being a "pyramid", but it operates a lot like one. My biggest "bone-to-pick" is that the company claims to be a financial counseling service in part, but when I considered joining with them, they promised to counsel me first so I could help others. I made three appointments and never heard back...

we let them come and do a financial analysis for us since we knew someone that worked for them and begged us to do it. it was pretty much worthless. they didn't tell us anything we didn't already know and the more experienced guy was really annoying. he just acted like a used car salesman. i don't think they make very much money either.

I went to a presentation for them once. They want you to pay all this money and supposedly you make it back so quickly and easily but I've never actually seen anyone do it.

Gabby_Gabby_Purrsalot
Is that one of those pyramid scheme ones? I wouldn't do that. Only the top people make any money!

Great Gifts 4 Everyone
I have a friend who used to do that he gave up never made any money.
