Ltd., hanged himself in a warehouse in the southern Chinese city of Foshan on Saturday afternoon, China's Southern Metropolis Daily reported. Lee Der, which Hong Kong records say Cheung incorporated with a business partner in 2002, manufactured all of the nearly 1 million toys recalled by Mattel earlier this month. |

I believe it. Suicide is easier than having the state do it.
I think it's a great idea. I wish it would catch on here.
Imagine how much money we could save if we hadn't had to try Ken Lay, head of ENRON (and others like him). Imagine how much better we all would have been if he had just hanged himself rather than proclaiming his innocence all those many months (years?).
He DID know about it. He lied. He destroyed the lives of thousands upon thousands of investors and employees. He deserved the worst punishment possible.
It happens every day, here and around the world where business people and politicians defraud the public.
They should hang themselves and save us the cost of a trial. |

A lot of oriental based cultures are real heavy on pride and what not...when someone is disgraced, it's not uncommon for them to end the disgrace by ending their life. |

It's hard to tell. I can tell you that officials who are disgraced in China tend to commit suicide. This isn't the first one in recent months. |

A lot of societies still are very touchy about losing face and having their 'pride' and 'honor' sullied.
bit like Sepukku in Japan (ritual suicide) to regain honor
bit like honor killings by muslims
etc...
the guy was responsible for something Big and he messed up big time, so he lost a lot of face in front of his peers and people. |

I do believe this guy killed himself....many Asian cultures still view suicide as a viable option if they have experienced a certain level of discrace. |

aim not sure what your asking here but , they are a proud people so maybe he did , that is a lot of money lose for a country to and it looks very bad on them so it could have happened now i wonder if that's what why autism is on the rise in this country or is it lead poising that's a sad deal if after all these years we find out we poised are kids with the toy sad sad and if this turns out to be the case the doctors in this country should be held accountable for it to for over looking it . |
