First things first! Do your homework about the company and know a bit about the job that you are applying for. Be prepared to answer quesions, maybe you could role play with a friend before you go. Bring copies of your resume and cover letter to give to the person conducting the interview. This next part is very important!! You have to look great, over dress a little but keep it professional. Make sure your hair in neat, nails are clean etc. Stand up straight and walk in with confidence, same goes for when you sit down. Don't sit all the way back in the chair; you want to lean forward a bit. Make eye contact with the interviewer and smile. Don't be afraid to ask questions when they offer you the opportunity you are interviewing them as well. Just be the most confident you that you can be. |

Before the interview, pretend you are the interviewer. Really think about this, what are they going to ask, can you answer? Can you help others with their answers without seeming like a "big loner-know it all". Teamwork is the key. |

Go to the store and see how most the employee's dress, dress accordingly, it will look like you fit in. Get smart on the stuff they sell, they will think they will spend less time training you, and more time selling stuff. If you don't know, tell them, don't tap dance around, shows you got character. |
