Friends ordered Reading tickets off Xclusiveticket.com, very suspicious about late conformation emails, had a look on the web and found many bad reviews about not receiving tickets. However obviously if you did receive your tickets your not most likely to say you have on the web.
Has anyone ever ordered from them before?
They state that they send out 10,000’s of tickets every week and there’s the few that get misplaced. True? Or have they all been taken for fools..

Sigh* i have no answers either sorry. i am in the same position as all the others, 2 tickets to reading, grew concerned after no confirmation email, though it turns out they had my incorrect email address, i have the confirmation now, but after researching them i did not like the bad reviews. Contacted my c.company and i have also notified the UK trading standards agency who wil wait to see if other people make complaints before taking any action, so can people please report these potential crooks.
However, this company has been operating for many years, and possibly the bad reviews are just one offs as with any online ticket brokers. Read the terms and conditions.
write a letter to them, so they know you're serious. either way, you are protected by your cc, so financially dont worry too much. but its horrible pain and hassle we really dont need. basically this company specialises in getting hard to get tickets using their many sources to purchase them.
Its a tough choice to make, but id get on the phone to the Trading Standards agency and together we can get to the bottom of this. |

Hi there, I too got the festival excitement and rushed too book from this site, mainly because it was the top sponsored link in google when i searched Reading Festival Tickets (its not now!)
I paid by debit so I phoned my bank and they cannot cancel it. The money has not yet left my account, but when it does they have given me a number to ring for Debit Disputes who will be able to check the company and see if it has had many fraudulent claims made about it.
If anyone who has been charged already feels like ringing the number it is 0845 300 6699 please let us all know what they said, and if it is a cause for concern we can maybe group together for refunds.
This company may be fine though, just a bit s^^t - if they are buying tickets after the release from seperate companies/individuals to forward on that would explain the fluctuating price and the fact that they are still selling tickets |

My friend ordered reading tickets off of xclusivetickets and recieved a confirmation email straight away and a email saying that the transaction has been successful.
I have heard many rumours about xclusive tickets, and read many bad reviews. Most of these included a Take That concert in Scotland. I rang xclusive tickets and said i had heard these rumours and seen these reviews. They said that the take that concert was a sell out, and the reason people had problems was because tickets were double booked, meaning there was not enogh seats, however it was not xclusive tickets fault.
They reassured me that my friend would definatly recieve the two tickets she has ordered for herself and i. And they also said that they have never had a problem with festival tickets before.
I was also suspicious of where they got the reading tickets from, as i rang reading and they confirmed that the tickets were not dispatched to xclusive tickets. However, xclusive tickets said they didn't get the tickets directly from Reading, but from the sponsors of the festival instead. |

I bought two Reading Festival tickets as well from Xclusive.com before doing any research on them. I did some research after i had confirmed the tickets and i couldn't find any good reviews. I cancelled my tickets by e-mailing them, they got back to me confirming they were cancelled which surprised me as it said you weren't able to cancel them in their terms and conditions. But it turned out they wouldn't of been able to charge me anyway because i used a debit card and not a credit card so i was lucky.
My advice is try and cancel the tickets and maybe pay a little extra for tickets on eBay as it's a lot safer.
If you don't receive the tickets you could risk going up to Reading anyway and buy a ticket there, because last year i went and there were some people who had spares and stuff like that. |

I had did the same, but after reading the reviews I got my fax of straight away - to cancel my order! Plus places like lastminute and other reputable websites are sold out - and they still have tickets?!
As it pains me so, I cancelled to avoid any further issues and dissappointment.
Now it's just a question of time if it actually does get cancelled or not.

I just bought my tickets for Reading from them. I called them up to check they actually existed and there was a bloke on the end of the phone. I asked him if he had any proof they were legitimate ad he did't give me any definitive proof - but to be fair there is not much he could show me.
If I knew someone who had a positive review I would be happier. Going to call my cc company to check... |

Ive ordered 2 x Reading tickets from Xclusive yesterday and had an email confirmation straight away. I was concerned like ou after reading reviews so rang them twice today. Spoke to some random guy today and he confirmed everything but it all souns and looks so unprofessional. Im starting to fear the worst |

Yeah, i resorted to Xclusive after hours of trying to get through to seetickets.com.
I asked some questions when i phoned as i was pretty skeptical. They had some tickets so i bought some, but she said she wouldnt put it on the system becuase it would take to long? She then said i would get a confirmation email eitheir later that night or in the morning. Needless to say i didn't so i am still waiting two days later. I have rang up several times, armed with bad reviews, to be greeted with some terrible excuse, about the time it is taking to load onto the system and that they are having to discount the tickets because i bought them at £175.00 and not £235.00 which they are selling them for now.
I am now left in a bad position where, i could cancel my tickets and run the the risk of not getting any, or, hang in and stay optimisic?

ive also booked tickets with Xclusive ticket. I booked mine on a debit card and the transcation has gone through.
I rang them the day i booked to cancel which they said they would i then asked if i could ring the next day and do it which they said was fine. I then called today and they said i wasnt allowed and i asked why the tickets were being distributed so late and they said because they werent printed. i then informed them i have spoken to reading festival who say all the tickets for the weekend have been printed and tyhey said there ticekts are not from reading and i said that any tickets there sponsers would get would all come from the festival themselves and they turbned around and said its none of your buisness and hung up on me.
i dont think this company is reliable. the tickets are still on sale with them so theyre obviously selling more than they have because even a fraud site would have sold out tickets by now anyway but they continue to sell them which i think is a little strange.
has anyone else purcahsed tickets on a debit card and the transaction has gone through? |

Ordered two reading tickets yesterday.
Got a confirmation after, saying that payment had been declined so i phoned up the company.
Sketchy bloke on the end of the phone, no 'hello xclusive tickets' or anything of that kind.
I asked if my order had gone through and he said yes. I then asked if i could change the e-mail it got sent to and he said ' nah soz love i've clicked off the page now and it takes too long to load'.
i hung up and phoned my bank to cancel the order, they couldnt and nor could xclusive tickets.
For those of you that have an insured credit card, they will pay out if the tickets are fraud or dont come at all. Just have to wait til august. Rubbish! |
