I could answer this with specific reference to India where the southern coast was hit by Tsunami a few years back and the organisation run by Holy Mother Ma Amritananda mayeee did a yoemen service to all the deprived poor people by rebuilding homes -these were mostly fisherman.In USA I heard on Oprah winfrey's program that people who suffered in the katrina hurricane had their homes rebuilt by some oganisation but sorry I do not have the name right now
