It's frustrating because they don't get it- they don't know much beyond their script. No slang, no local addresses, no acronyms. And when a problem comes up, they are really clueless and keep repeating their same script.
I don't blame them, I avoid companies that have outsourced. |

Not only is it frustrating to try and communicate with them but has anyone thought about the fact that they have Americans personal information and are not the most friendliest nation towards "westerners"? Answer with a question. Sorry. |

Yes it does, because half the time you can't understand what they're saying, and when you ask a question that they don't understand, they keep repeating the same stupid thing, trying to make you forget you asked. |

Yes because their English is so bad that it's hard to understand them. Plus they never seem to give the right answers. Also its bothersome when the Customer service you are calling is an American based company. |

i use to get mad because i could not understand most of the customer service employees in india. however annoying these employees do try to be polite and helpful. still hard to understand. but no matter how many times you ask them to repeat themselves - they will. |

Yes, if we can not communicate on the subject. No, if the communication is good, they are knowledgeable on the subject matter. I hate paying for technical support on a product I just purchased a few months ago, so I am willing to put up with a little more than I would normally. |

I don't get mad at the person in India answering the phone--they are just victims getting paid next to nothing, along with all the other people in this country who've been laid off so some fatcat CEO can get a new jet or buy his liposuctioned wife a new trinket. Everyone claims that companies are outsourcing because Americans are too expensive to employ, but the real reason comes down to the bottom line: more money for the CEO's. |

Yes, especially when they placate to me. |

No. Customer service are all done now in small countries all over the world. This is because of the high cost of salary if they will have the customer service in US. Plus it is a good opportunity for the other people in the world to have a good paying job. Because almost all countries have cell phone, it is only a senseful idea to have customer service everywhere that can help people all over the universe. Wow! bigat. |
