There are MANY MANY things I hate about walmart. Mostly how they bring mom and pop operations out of business. Pretty much destroyed my downtown. No one working there seems to know what they stock, or where it is. Ive been told a few times they didnt have such and such, only to find it myself.
Oh wait, that admits that Ive shopped there.
I abhor their return policy, where they require to swipe your drivers lisence to keep track of you. That REALLY should be illegal.
I dont appreciate the in store commercials and in mail ads in another language much either. Im cool with those if I am in ANOTHER country.....but it seems to be so anti-American to me. Especially since they love to tell you that it was "made in America".

Customer service depends on the store you shop at. In repsonse to another answer, they only need your drivers license if you don't have a receipt. They do this to track no receipt returns, because alot of people abuse that. You are only allowed 3 in a year. I've seen people go get new ids with different numbers to get around it. |

They have gone away from their keys to success. It was a big box store but with the customer at heart. They were a pleasant place to buy everything that you need. But they started thinking that price was everything. They stopped treating their employees as owners. They started pressuring the vendors to lower prices. They also got competition. Competition that copied the good things and improved on the bad. They never reacted. K-Mart is a good example because that is exactly what Wal-Mart is doing. On a slippery slope to K-Mart. |
