Sometimes you can find good deals; sometimes you can get rip off as well. Before you place a bid, you must do some homework first. You have to know about the product you are buying. Compare the prices and add the shipping costs to them.
I found some wireless routers listed on ebay are actually cost more than what I can buy from local stores. Not to mention about the shipping costs. So, you must be careful! Think twice before placing a bid. |

It depends... I think people do seem willing to bid a little too much for used stuff... and you can usually find better deals on new items from more reputable dealers... But, it's a fantastic place to sell certain things without losing too much compared to what you paid.
I still love it... It's the best when you're looking for something older or unusual that you'd have to go to a million sales to find otherwise.
There are a few sellers I've found who do much of their business on eBay and offer excellent values.

Yeah depending on how popular the item is, you can often find it cheaper elsewhere.
I used to find really good deals on there, but the only good deals I can find now are mostly on cosplaying accessories. Everything else goes too high to be worth it. |
