First of all, you have to remember what Ray Kroc said, "We are in the real estate business. The only reason we sell hamburgers is because they are the greatest producer of revenue from which our tenants can pay us rent"( you can't even buy land in Russia as McDonald's owns all of it and rents it out to others). McDonald's is THE largest commercial real estate owner with property valued at 8 billion dollars 5 years ago, before real estate went through the roof. McDonald's, the company, makes money by buying and selling real estate and charging franchise fees. The independent owners make money selling burgers. I could go on and on but there is no marketing flaw there. |

I got food poisoning at the McDonald's in the 34602 area and my wife was served a raw chicken sandwich at the 34601 McDonald's. We have never gone back to a McDonald's. Besides I think they have forgotten the folks that remember (We do it all for you) They are marketing the children and dumped on the parents! And besides WHERE`S THE BEEF! Go buy a Burger at Hardy's and you will see the difference. |

No, they don't. Their stock has tripled in 3 years. Doesn't sound "flawed" to me. |

They are a great business, but their restaurants are getting shabbier and noisier and I have stopped going there. Unless they put things right they are doomed. |

Its all the publicity surrounding obese children and Jamie Olivers campaign for healthy eating. Parents are not taking their kids there so often. |
