"Sign on bonus" sounds like a fat worm on a line - $1000 a month sounds like nothing - $12000 a year? No thanks.
And I think that's like £6000 which is nothing.
But then, you need no experience so if it's your first (part time) job, go for it. |

I notice that there is nothing that tells you what the job is. There is only hype without substance.
My crystal ball tells me it the job is going to involve commission sales and the $1,600 to start means "average $1,600 commissions is what we think we ought to make you think you are going to earn."
The sign on bonus will come with strings. |

It sounds like some sort of sales gig. Notice that the ad says NOTHING about what the job actually involves? They use the name of a popular product (Red Bull) but then add the word "attitude" to obfuscate the fact that the job probably has nothing to do at all with the product Red Bull.
A true sign-on bonus would be paid immediately upon hire. However most of them have so many strings attached to make them less than honest. It would be reasonable to state that you had to remain with them for a certain period of time, say 90 to 180 days, or you would forfeit the bonus, i.e. it would be withheld from your final pay. But many of them require you to meet certain sales or performance goals early on or they will take the bonus back very quickly.
Listen to what they have to say if you wish, but keep a jaded ear tuned for hints that it isn't what it appears to be. I answered one many years ago and it turned out to be selling Rainbow vacuum cleaners door-to-door. The "sign on" bonus was based upon my selling 20 of the damn things in the first 30 days. |

Sign on bouns means they want give you EXTRA, so when you considering positions than you will choose them first over the other chances.
But I will find out what is the company about, it sounds like very long hours and hard work. Maybe some marketing type of job and $1600/mo isn't really high. Go find out what they do first. |

They offer a sign on bonus so you can tell others, which is a very inexpensive way of advertising since the people you Will be bringing in will know what the job is since you would have told them.
So they will not have to sell them the job you would have done it for them.

If they are giving sign on bonuses it is probably because they are having problems filling the position because of the lack of people who want that kind of job. Or it is such a crappy job that no one wants it. |

yes it sounds great. 1600$ a month for starting thats amazing! and the best part is that you dont need experience, so that means if u do have experiene u have a great chance getting the job.
and no that does not mean it is bogus they are just really desperate for workers. i did the same thing when i started my first company |
