No way, with over 300 million people living in the US it'd be a sure-fire way to the bankruptcy courts if a lot of people took them up on the offer.
Plus it'd leave them open to being taken advantage of by fraudsters who'd get fake IDs to gain multiple gift cards. |

Wal-mart is so cheap they would never be able to do that if word got out. they don't even give their employees a birthday bonus.
I worked for them 15 years ago and they consider full time 28 hours so they can justify this... after xmas they cut fulltime employees to 28 hours a week because of it being slow for 4 months or so after. I had to give up my apartment and move home it was humiliating, i couldn't afford basic needs like food and heat. so many of the staff had to quit which they want because then no raises need to be given out. they portray themselves as a good company and I could talk all day long on how they are evil. there is actually a book about their evil practices. |
