Does walmart lie about their products ? ?
does walmart lie and say that they don't sell stuff in the store only online like books? i was looking on their website for the twilight books (read them already but want my own set) and it says online and has a check mark and the not sold in stores
i know the price is lower but do they mean the price is different in the store then online ?

No most stores like Walmart, or Target that say Online only, its because its online only. They ship it out of global warehouse, Most companies don't have enough space for inventory that does not move. For example books don't move that quick in these stores, so they carry a limited supply in their stores usally top sellers.

It's probably just a mistake or a problem with the site.
I know they carry the books in their stores because I bought mine there.
I know what you're talking about though---I was looking at furniture on their website about a month ago and it had the check mark for online and not for the store like that but when I went to the store they had it!

Walmart sells some stuff online only. Think about it! The stores are only so big, they can't fit everything.
The also sell some stuff where you don't have to pay for shipping; they ship it to a store with your name on it and you pick it up.
Walmart also has clout with suppliers because they are so big. They can make the vendor package something a little bit different and technically it's a different product. To you it might be the same four books, but if the set has a different package, they aren't lying. They can also price it differently.
Watch out for Walmart pricing. The will have a great price on a featured item, but a not so great price on similar items. They don't make all that money by underselling the competition on every item.
My Thoughts U Can't Decode
It means since it's a small product they can't guarantee they have it in stock. And online prices CAN differ from the stores.
If you have a Target near you try them. I just bought my niece the 1st book for her birthday there last night and only paid $8.86 for paperback.. they had the other 3 as well (I think it's a promo price because of the movie coming out soon)
