Does your company have to pay the expense of uniforms?
I read it has to do something with minimum wage, but I also heard that if a company requires you to purchase an article of clothing with the company logo it must be provided as a business expense. Is this true or does the employee have to suck it up and pay the costs of the uniforms?
If you have to pay for it you can deduct it on your tax return.

I've had jobs were they provided the uniform, and jobs where they made me eat the cost. I'm not sure if there's laws about this; maybe they are state laws.
