EBAY peoblems with bidding?
everytime i bid i get ''you have bin out bidded'' den the bid was 15p so i put in 50p and it said it again so bidded on 55p said it again i whent it to the biddin history and theres was only 2 bids the highest was 15p what do i do about this. its like everyrime i bid it comes up Additional Details how do i no the maximum bid
Because someone has set their maximium bid higher than you have been offering. Decide what is the max you are prepared to pay & put that in. And maybe have a read of Ebays help pages so you know what you're doing in future.
EDIT - You won't know what the other persons max bid is unless you outbid them, until then it's private. As I said earlier decide how much you are prepared to go up to & enter that bid. If the other person is prepared to spend more than you are then give up & look at other sellers with the same product.
Googlypants
someone has put in a high bid and you'll keep getting that message until you exceed that bid.

you are entering your maximum bid. Other people have also entered their maximum bid. If their max bid is , say $100, it might only show $20 (as current price). If you bid $40, it will way "you have been outbid! ". It will say this until you bid over $100. ............ here is the good part. If you bid $200 and the next highest bid below yours is $120. you will only end up paying about $122. :)
Hope this helps...........10 points 10 points

it's because someone has a maximum bid higher than what you are putting in

it wont tell you the amount the last bidder bidded, he could have put in £20 it wouldnt tell you, it will just tell you what its currently priced at.
I set a certain amount in my head and wait til the last 20 seconds then bid!!

because people do the proxie bid. They type in the most that they would pay for the item when they bid. YOu just have to keep going up each time it does that until you finally outbid them. I run across it all the time but rarely want to go as high as needed.
