I couldn't agree with you more there hon! I've been an e-bay bookseller for over a year now, and prided myself on my 100% record - sold over 1500 items and got just one neutral comment! My seller ratings are all between 4.8/4.9 and I take pride in customer service! I was seriously peed off to see that it is now at 99.9% for one neutral comment which will stay on record for about another 7 months!! I have had some buyers who are rude, who refuse to pay or have sat on payment for over 7 weeks! It just seems so unfair that I am now not allowed to comment about this, whereas they could quite easily give me a negative feedback for no good reason whatsoever! After all, us sellers are keeping eBay afloat by listing our items, maintaining our shops and paying our fees on time - so YES I feel very hard done by and fed up about it all to be honest! xxxxx
EDIT: a good point from itsjustme below - but my policy is ALWAYS to leave feedback as soon as the item has been parcelled up and paid for! It seems wrong for the sellers to be treated in this manner if you ask me! YES I'm sure there are some disreputable people out there - but I have always been honest, and am trying to run a business here - and eBay are making it extremely difficult for everyone to share their experiences in a fair manner!! |

Because eBay wants to piss sellers off! Sellers can't leave negative feedback to buyer also even though they don't pay! eBay sucks! |

I don't use ebay much anymore, they are starting to rob us and it all getting too much now i think. |

Many many sellers on E-bay were holding feedback on their customers for ransom! They wouldn't leave feedback until the buyer did. Then if the buyer left negative feedback, or neutral (which is automatically seen as negative on e-bay) The seller would retaliate with negative, too!
I had a situation where I purchased a group of books from an ebay seller. It took me over ten weeks just to get the seller to send them out, and then only after I had threatened legal action. I left negative feedback for the seller, as she deserved! That same day, though the seller left some really nasty comments about me that were totally untrue in a negative feedback response. I'm sure this is what ebay is trying to address with their new policies. |

you cant leave a negative one, ebay have changed their feedback rateing so the sellers cannot give bad negative feedback in reply to the buyers feedback, or something like that. lol |

I totally feel shafted by ebay- I am ready to quickly jump on an alternative- already selling on amazon more and I am finding more customers on amazon than I used to.
Ebay is so buyer centric now that the buyers are screwing sellers over. I got a negative because I took 2 days to ship a package for a buyer. I could not retaliate. I had 100% positive feedback with over 3500 + feedbacks. I helped build ebays business since its inception now they are screwing me.
