hazzard | EBay...problems? |
I ordered five items from five different companys last month, the first item arrived in 48 hours...great....The second and third items arrived in five days....great...The fourth and fith items did`nt arrive at all....not good. I advised one of the companys that their item had not been delivered after two weeks. they apogised and they refunded my money the same day....great. The second company said they would look into the problem....that was a week ago , and that was the last I heard from them. This was the first time I had ordered stuff through eBay....and it will be my last....three out of five is`nt very good....anybody out there had similar problems? |

If you have paid for goods through Pay Pal then you need to file a dispute with them if you have not received the goods and they will contact the seller on your behalf.
From personal experience once this happens you normally get your money back, if the seller is not Pay Pal protected then Pay Pal will charge you a fee for this service. |

Keep after the vendor. Like you said, you're dealing with 5 DIFFERENT vendors - not all will be perfect. If you want to narrow it down, don't bid on items from sellers with feedback scores under 10 or 25 or whatever level you want to set and definitely don't bid on auctions from sellers with less than a 99.0% feedback rating. I've been selling/buying for 8 yrs, and have only gotten 2 negatives in about 2000 transactions and both were bogus and I shouldn't have gotten them |

sorry, but I think you just had a bad ordering week.
Ive ordered plenty of items and sold plenty more, and never once had any problems like you have seen.
Nothing more than waiting an extra day for someone to pay for something they bought. |

i have had very good experiences with ebay- and the others are right, make sure you check sellers feedback, return policies. if they dont cooperate, ebay is really good about resolving problems between sellers and buyers. sorry to hear you wont be ebaying anymore- i think its great!! as a buyer and a seller. |

I have a feedback rating of 318 so have obviously used ebay a lot and I have only had 1 item go missing in the post. You could always ask sellers to send using recorded delivery and pay the extra to cover the cost. |

Ebays on the way out because of their "power sellers" who are supposed to be the top of their tree sellers who in fact can operate shoddily and EBAY will sit there and do absolutely NOTHING! |

Personally I've ordered Quite a few items on eBay and always had 1st class service, just leave a negative feedback to the company that let you down,they don't like that, give it another go I'm sure that you've just had a bad experience. |

you have to make sure the people that you bid/buy from have good feedback. You shouldn't buy from anyone who has negative feedback stating "never got the item" or "took 2 months to recieve"...Otherwise, people are usually pretty good and trustworthy....but things do happen, maybe its a simple misunderstanding or problem, you have to keep communication open. |
