OK,
LONG STORY SHORT,
Sold item on ebay, guy paid with PAP PAL, I sent via Royal Mail recorded delivery..
Buyer says item not recieved, I tracked the parcel and it was signed for next day and have proof of signature online
Buyer has now demanded a refund as he has not got item and has made a claim via PAP PAL !!
Thing is, whats going to be the outcome ?
Who will ebay / Pap pal believe ?
I have all info of transaction, and only relying on the honesty of the buyer
If Pap pal have all the facts ?, whats the chances that the buyer will get a refund ?
I have heard of scammers and people being dishonest, but I think this will certainly stop me using PAP PAL if buyer gets a full refund
Does the seller always loose ?

Royal Mail say item sent, and delivered, so no claim against them...

Hi Simple answer is that the parcel was signed for so Royal Mail are not obligated to refund. In any event there are restrictions on refunds dependant on what the item was in the parcel. Paypal always freeze the funds pending the outcome. See as follows

well if you have entered the royal mail tracking number on paypal that will show the item was signed for so you should be ok if they do refund him you can click on the appeal button add the tracking number again and in the message advise paypal to check again as the item has been signed ofr all the best |

You can always threaten to go to police/your solicitor or small claims court ,as you have proof he has recieved it . |

Firstly ,has the buyer denied signing for the item-if so has Royal mail delivered to the wrong address.
If Paypal do their job properly and check the written evidence then they should find in your favour,BUT i have heard of cases like this before which have gone completely the wrong way.If it does then claim against Royal mail. |
