Ginsi Bonsai | Ebay question about item paid for but never received.? |
I won a pair of shoes on Ebay. The payment was processed through paypal and I have not received my shoes since the transaction process in early February.
The seller keeps responding that they will check on this transaction and get back with me as soon as possible, for the third time.
Is there anything that can be done about this other than negative feedback. Will filing a complaint with ebay really effect this seller in anyway?

Don't waste your time waiting for the guy. Did he send you a tracking number? Hurry and file a complaint with PayPal (that's how you do it over eBay). They'll look into it for you. Save all your emails between each other, tell them that the guy's just screwing with you and they usually award you back the money spent. Of course, you're not at fault at all so you'll definitely get all your money.
Hurry because after 21 days or something like that, you can no longer file a complaint. I actually had to contact bbb.org to report PayPal's stupid policy before.
If you paid with credit card, that works too. File a complaint through them and they'll handle it for you as well. |

send an email to the seller tomorrow and tell them if you do not receive a refund or a tracking number of shipment within 24 hours you are leaving negative feedback and filing the claim with ebay/paypal. If they do not respond then file the claim, forget the shoes, and just try to get your money back now. |

Shoe sellers on eBay are pretty bad sometimes. Especially when it comes to Jordans... Selling either fake or just taking their sweet time.
The buyer has to send you something in the mail and be able to prove to paypal that he/she sent it and arrived. If you don't get your shoes in the next few days, I would suggest filing a complaint with paypal. Paypal will ask the seller to provide tracking and check the status of your auction. If he cannot provide this you will recieve your money back and paypal will go after the seller.
You are protected under paypal's buyer protection. |

make sure you file a complaint with ebay.
i did and the person got deregistered because he had screwed others over also.
then claim your funds through paypal/credit card if thats how you processed it.

Hello. I am a seller on ebay but i sell car parts. Sometimes i have had problems receiving payment from Buyers. Sometimes they send the payment to the wrong e-mail address and it creates problems. I would let the seller know that you aren't happy and are going to file a complaint and leave negative feedback if you don't hear from them immediately. Hope that helps. |
