Vancouver, B.C. Canada. It is the best place to live on earth. We have beautiful mountain and ocean view. Our economy is blooming with full employment. Our cost of living is very low compare to most of the countries in the world. Crime rate is very low compare to our US counter part. Once you come here, you won't want to go back to England or the US. |

Both since America still follow a lot of laws and practices from the mother country.
Both however do not offer strong protections to honest employees.
Sadly the Unions became greedy like the non-unions and lost a lot of credibility.
My site is about how the US Federal Government controls Americans through law and law enforcement.
Visit only if you are NOT scared that it will make you aware of the dark side in the USA. |

Well as im English, i would say England of course!
America has one of the highest unemployment rates in the developed world also!
& they are also hated more than anyother nation in the world. |

England without a doubt. |

I think either one. You could have a good way of life and the freedom to live your life in either country. It just depends on which culture you prefer to immerse yourself in. |

I'm not certain either location or Country is the best place to be for a good way of life. I do think America has more wealth among the people, more Millionaires than England....I guess if you had money and wanted to be Left Alone, England would be a better place. Whenever people have money in the States their seen as a Celebrity. Everyone wants to be their friend and for all the Wrong Reasons...
So depending on what your really looking for, I'd probly choose England...I really like my privacy.... |

The standard of living in US is far higher than in UK and most things are cheaper there. UK housing is the most expensive in the world and so UK people have the least living space per head, of any advanced country.
How ever life in UK and indeed all Europe is more civilised than in US, as long as you live well away from immigrant areas. But with hundreds of thousands pouring in from Africa and Asia legally and illegally every year, it is getting increasingly difficult to achieve. |

Well, it largely depends on what you consider a "good way of life." The US extends basic rights and healthcare rather quickly to immigrants but the "quality" of life begins to plateau rather quickly. The UK expects more effort from individuals; however a much greater quality of life can be achieved. |

Don't think much of either of them.
Unless you want to pay a small fortune, it's difficult to get a decent meal in a restaurant in the UK and I object to drinking coffee from a polystyrene cup in the US.
In both countries you have to have a good income to have a good life. |
