I recieved a winning certificate from this company with a check for 2998.40. I took it to the bank. They said it was real and wanted to deposit it for me. I did NOT deposit the check. The number I have no one will answer. Has anyone been able to get their so called agent on the phone? The address on mine is 1240 Dawson Blvd. Ste 400, Winnipeg,MB. Did anyone else's letter say to keep this award highly confidential? Doesnt that make You worry?

I receive a check of $2,998.50 today. I called the number in my letter 403-383-3581 and was told that my agent was not there and that the office was closing, they told to call back tomorrow their office opens at 10am. I asked where they were located and was told that they are in Canada. I tried to get some answers regarding the check but was told my agent could answer all my questions, but to go ahead and deposite my check. Sounds to good to be true! I will try and call again tomorrow and see what happens. I WILL NOT deposite this check! Its strange, the address on the check (3975 Overland Ave, Culver City CA 90230) does not match the one in the letter (440 Spencer Ave., Ste 404, Calgary, AB) |

I received the same letter and check and are curious if true? I have not contacted the 403-383-3605 yet and will try today. It says the prize expires this 30 mar 07 and have a LA conatc address. So has anyone yet contatced to find if true? |

This is a scam. If you google the name "Express Financial Group" then you can find that this is a group from Nigeria that has stolen a check from this mortgage company and forged the checks. I wish this could have been real because I could have used the money! Oh well, hope you guys didn't cash these checks! |

I got one as well, but my check was made for $1.50 less than yours. I was questioning it, as well. Did you even enter any kind of drawing of such? Who did it say your 'agent' was? |

Hi, I am an employee at a bank where one of these checks came through. This check is a scam, the check will come back as fraudulent. I hope none of you have sent these people cash. |

If you received a check from these people it is a SCAM!!!!! You should immediately call the National Check Fraud Center. I talked with them and they said that this is a multi-billion dollar scam ring that gets you to cash the check then send the money to them ($2998.00) then the check bounces and debits your checking account. The money that you sent is gone. If you subtract the $.39 in postage seems that they made $2997.61. WOW!! You can contact the National Check Fraud Center at:
