Selling price is cost price + direct expenses + indirect expenses + tax + profit etc.
Seller can always fix rates of its product.
5% on 27/- is only Rs. 1.35 but due to other various unaviodable circumstances, advt., cost of distribition etc. mfg. of Wills Navy Cut revised SP from 27/- to 34/-. SP is total of various items. You can get correct reply for revision in rates. This is inflation. My customer to me: Last time, we paid 300/-, now why are you demanding 500/-. Revision is due to various expenses. Now my wife is demanding more, so I have revised charges from 300/- to 500/- and so on. I may announce sale and may charge 400/- etc. |
