For Indians only !?
Do u agreed that orgainged retail (reliance fresh, spencer, ) is harmfull to indian economy if yes give ur point of views
No its not harmful to economy at all. And would also like to add that its a free country, all the small shop-keepers making big issue out of it should also understand that if they dont maitain quality and standards someone else will and no one can stop consumer from buying from big retails chains.
Celeste
They bring quality products to the consumer under an airconditioned atmosphere like all the developed countries in the world at reasonable prices. So it couldnt be harmful to the economy as such.
Nikita
No it is not at all harmful. In fact by cutting out the middlemen, they will increase the money earned by the farmers at the same time give cheaper products to the end user. In long run wal-mart has been extremely good for the US economy and I think this retail revolution in India will do the same.
Sunash
it will have a strong impact on our economy.
but not bad.
dew
definitely it is not harmful to indian economy but think about the condition of the ordinary retail sellers , whether they can compete with the industries like RELIANCE OR SPENCERS ? i think it is not possible . They are many fields in indian market which is still unfocused, why do reliance wants to get into retail industry suppressing the growth of the ordinary people. i accept that they provide a quality product @ cheap rates but it alone not makes the point .
jammy
Not in cities but may be in small towns and villages ... 70 % of the indian population in small towns and villages still don't even earn 50rs per day .. do you think such people can go and but stuffs from retail malls ... may be 20 or 30 years later when india would be booming in real sense and if communalism doesn't take over the country then industries like retail will survive ..
Bharat
It is helpful in creating job opprtunity & removing the middlemen in between cousumer & producer/Farmer
