dont even get me started lol i used to work in a call centre and i get so frustrated if i cant get my point across. ive also found that some staff in call centres now are incredibly rude and i quite often ask to speak to a manager and then get mysteriously 'cut off' hmm. but yes when somebody can not understand what u r asking u feel like banging ur head against a wall |

it is a disgrace. My friend has no time for it, she was actually told " it is quite simple" which led her into a rant of " it might be quite simple for you, but I can't understand it, and I can't understand you, so it isn't quite simple for me, so slow f**king down and tell me again"
She told me and I giggled at her , but then thought , no, she is dead right, she should've phoned the bank to complain too....if she could ring somewhere local!!!!!!!! |

i would change bank etc to avoid this, it is infuriating and very poor customer relations. if everyone boycotted these call centres maybe we could get things changed. |

You don't have to get through to a foreign call centre to be treated with indifference! I've had people talk to me rudely who were obviously in the UK. British rudeness over indian politeness and incomprehension. Not sure which i prefer! |

Bloody absolutely hate them! The only way forward is if you get connected to a call centre in India is to politely ask for a UK connection as you feel uneasy discussing your account with someone who doesn't even know the time of day in the UK ..... it is all so artificial when they talk to you, isn't it and they tend to be patronising and obsequeous ! If we complain enough and refuse to go any further, surely someone should get the message! |

Frustrating. Often we can't understand one another and I end up feeling bad about getting frustrated. I remain polite even when cross as I do not want to upset someone who is doing their best and unlike me, can speak 2 languages.
It is unfair on us both and they are probably paid a pittance, that's why companies relocate their call centres. |

transact online. that is how i do all my financial business. as much as possible i avoid going to the bank or call and deal with people since the people you deal with varies and are influenced by different factors so you will not get consistent service. i am served better by machines. it doesn't sound right but it just is. |

I hate that too. However, it aint no better when you call one based in Liverpool. Can't make out a word the scousers say. |
