Yes on proper paperwork as they file your wages with IRS and that is how they track your income, tax returns, social security. Be careful how you give this out and where. |

You don't have to write it on your application. I believe you do have to give it to them at some point so they can know for a fact you are a citizen. |

Yes, you must give an employer in the United States your Social Security Number. They must have this in order to report W-2 tax information and contribute on your behalf to your Medicare and Social Security. |

anytime there is a wage or some kind of $$$$$ between a hired person and a company, the tax number is required to be used. two reasons:
1- tax reporting.
2- legal permit to work within US laws.
for jobs, try these sites:

www.worldinsurancegroup.com

Get a copy of Cooperate Systems vs EEOC , Northern District (Dallas) Texas 1983/4. It is in the archives in Fort Worth the copy will cost $30.00
Go to Taco Bell and get a job application , under social security number it says (optional) hmmm They also lost in court about the social security number being required in 1984 or so.
Get a copy of the Social Security Act of 1934 the first page says this is voluntary and in keeping in compliance with the Bill of the Rights it cannot be made mandatory (Freedom of Religion of not taking the name/number or mark of the beast) |
