I joined Gold's Gym last year before I got pregnant and my finanacial situation wasn't as bad as it is now. My doctor wrote a note last year and the fee was frozen until this year. Now I had a charge for $49.95 last week. I didn't know they were going to take it out. I told that manager that I had a baby and I was under too much stress and my financial situation was too out of wack to pay the gym almost $50 a month and not use it. I have $400 health insurance and $600 day care bill added to my expenses. My husband lost his job. The manager at Gold's Gym had no sympathy and would not help.
Does anyone else know what the contracts entails and what should I do? I don't have anywhere that I can change my address to. I am not totally disabled but I got my doctor to write a note saying that I could not work out because I was having heart pulpulations and anxiety. The manager stated that this was not good enough. This company is the worst I've ever seen to be as unimportant as they are.

I heard that if you cancel your bank account they will try other measures. And even put this on my credit. I really don't need or want this to happen. I have to buy a house sometime and I've been trying all year to get my score back up.
