Apparently not personally, but he used Chapter 11 to renegotiate the bank loans on corporate debt throughout the 1990s (and perhaps before, but those dockets would not be recorded online). It's the old saw about when you owe the bank $100 vs. when you owe it $1 million.
I saw Trump Sunday Dec. 10 while having breakfast at Mar a Lago. He was there for the christenings. As arrogant as always and wearing his red baseball cap, but those are his trademarks aren't they? Those and his bad hair.
There are over 100 entries of corporations with the name "Trump" that filed chapter 11 or 7. On the list linked above there are four entries for Donald J. Trump, but he is not shown as a debtor but rather as tangentially involved in cases of his firms, with adversarial proceedings. Many of the Trump names on the list are unconnected to Donald.
