My friend recently got an offer though the mailThe offer was for a diet product called "Fat DrainR" or something.My friend said she doesn't remember sign up for anything like that and doesn't know how they got her name and address but she said she randomly signed up for things a while ago.The offer was for some diet pills and my friend really wants them but she is scared it a scam.The offer offers a money back guaranteed.The lowest offer is $79 for 2 bottles and she doesn't want to lose that money.Also if she does decide to get them she wants to pay with a credit card.There is a # on the paper that my firend called and some woman with an accent picked and answered some questions she had but she is still scared its a scam.I have two questions.How do you know if something is a scam?If she does go though with it and she uses her credit card,whats the risk?

I tried to find some infomation on it on the internet and i couldn't find it.I guess the paper said that this product isn't that well known in the U.S but wants their customers to spread the word if it works for them. |

First - its a scam , no pills work without proper diet and exercise no matter what so don't waste your money
second sending in your credit card information to an unknown "company" is extremly dangerous and idiotic they could take your information send you a bottle of sugar that costs 10 cents and empty your accounts and thats if they feel they want to be nice enough to give you something for being so dumb. Most will just tell you wait 4-6weeks for delivery and nothing ever shows but you paid and they have your money and when you call the number is disconnected or a new company thats doing the same thing with a different "product" IT IS A SCAM TOSS OUT THE OFFER |

NOTHING COMES UP UNDER 'FREE SPIRIT NATIONAL LABORATORIES, LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND " - EITHER - NOTHING AT ALL. NOT EVEN SIMILAR. I DO THINK THAT THIS IS PURE SCAM.... I just received this flyer in the mail today. I have asked a friend who is a scientist to look into this for me. I have also looked around on the internet and can not find anything about this company. I did, however, find information on the main ingredient in this product, orthosiphon. Apparently, this is also called "Java Tea". I have read some reports where this has worked for some people and not for others. I have listed a link where it did work for someone. I am hesitant to purchase this as it sounds too good to be true. But, I am still looking in to in and anxiously await to hear back from my friend on her findings. Please keep us posted if you or your friend try this and results please! |

Save your money & pride, this is just another scam. I did some research & came across some excellent information. The "magic" product in this pill is called the Orthosiphon plant. This plant is already known for its dieuretic capabilities. It helps your kidneys function. People on dialysis use this. Its found in a tea form called Java Tea which is something I might take and not feel as though I am getting scammed. Other fake products doing this same scam are called Liposvelt & Super Drain Formula (sound familar).
