I ordered something from the JCREW website that came with free shipping. In the past I have ordered from JCREW and never had a problem with UPS. UPS hires incompetent employees. I tracked my order with the UPS tracking number online. UPS made three attemps when I was home and said that the house was vacent and nobody was living there. How ignorant! I called UPS and told them that I still live in the house and to deleiver the package without a signature. JCREW told UPS that this package can be left without a signature. The telephone operator from UPS was extremely rude and said that the driver will not leave this package without a signature. He will not leave the package with a nieghbor eithor. My employer does not allow packages to be sent to my workplace. The UPS driver only delivers between 11am-2pm. The UPS terminal is 25 miles from my house. I'm not driving there to pick up my package. In the past UPS has left packages from JCREW, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and JCPENNY at my front door

If you work full time how does UPS expect someone to be home to recieve a package? If you are getting a $12 book UPS expects you to be home to sign for it? How rediculus! What is the point of online ordering for books and clothes if the UPS driver refuses to leave the package on your front porch?
The internet mail order companies are going to loose my bussiness if UPS is their only shipping option.
I contacted a supervisor at UPS and he told me that it is not my decision on how the driver chooses to deliever a package. He told me it is up to the drivers descretion on wether he requires a signature or not. |

Yes, ive had this same scenario occur many times, in which they never ring my buzzer (I live in an apartment), and I find a stupid notice saying they have been by. This got old real fast, and finally my husband just said to have everything UPS, delivered to his work where they would have to physically walk into his office where he could sign for it. I try to avoid even ordering from places that do not offer an alternative to UPS. |

They are REALLY rough on what they deliver...my son's computer arrived broken. The only thing not adversely affected was the fooball shoulder pads...the box was beat to hell, but they were fine, LOL |

u should call them and ask to speak to their SUPERVISER

Yes, but my story is the complete opposite. Just yesterday United Pathetic Service left two packages worth $700.00 in front of my brother's apartment at 3:00 in the afternoon when he gets off of work at 7:30 at night. They made no phone calls, no notifications, no nothing. It's a good thing I tracked the packages from day one and knew exactly where they were. When I found out they had left the packages I had to do so many phone calls and runaround to get in contact with my brother at his job in order for the boxes not to get stolen but his cellphone was off but I still left a message. I started text messaging him like crazy but couldn't contact him I even called those morons at UPS but they were like nothing, they really did not care. When my brother got off from work at 7:30 he received my text messages and voice mails and immediately rushed home to MIRACULOUSLY find the packages in the rain with one of the boxes all dented up in his front door. He said the boxes looked like garbage outside the door waiting to be thrown out. Maybe this was the reason why the boxes survived being outside for all those hours, I could not believe it. This is how UPS sees and handles packages like worthless trash. Luckily, the items were not damaged because of the factory packaging. I' am so enraged to know UPS offers services to thieves instead of it's customers. UPS has one of the most irresponsible, inconsiderate, pathetic services I have ever had to deal with. With this horrifying experience it would make anyone think twice before using UPS again. I hate UPS!! |

Nope.
Never a problem.
Even when my Grandma sent our gifts to my old address in another state... UPS still found package (which they left without signature) and delivered to us before Christmas. |

one problem a pkg. was to be sent to the my home and three weeks later never found again still dont know what happened but the items inside were never returned or cashed dont know one of those life's mystery.......maybe in a large crate in heaven that when i pass i will get excited cause then i will find all my keys and socks and now my package thats heaven have a great holiday okay ya hear me? |
